Aloe. GOSH! even the word is soothing. So I bought myself a stem of aloe vera the other day, for one thing, skincare. My skin is a piece of work and well it needs some help, aloe helps with acne, moisturizing, and acne scars. So I decided to try it out and find out ALL the uses for it.

I did some research and it is mostly used for skin and burns. So since I don’t have any burns on my skin well will be using it for skin care.

USES FOR YOUR SKIN

  1. makeup remover
  2. face masks ( I will have some recipes down below )
  3. eyebrow gel ( I need to try this out )
  4. acne fighter
  5. moisturizer

FACE MASKS

Simple skin mask

  1. coconut oil
  2. lemon juice
  3. aloe vera

Mix together 1 tsp. coconut oil, 1 tsp. lemon juice, and 1 tbsp. aloe vera. Apply to your face and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse well. (Don’t apply to chapped or cut skin.)

Night time firming mask

  1. cucumber
  2. egg white
  3. aloe vera

Take half a cucumber, one egg white, and aloe vera gel and blend together. Apply to your face and go to bed. CAUTION: Use a pillowcase you do not like or cover it with a towel.

ACNE

UGH! Everyone hates acne. When I first got my aloe it had broken at the top so I applied some to my skin, my skin actually started clearing up the next day. I have been applying it for the past two days my face is glowing and my skin has never been clearer. So my advice is to just apply daily to acne scars and spots to clear up.

OTHER

I tried out the other things I found you could use them for. They all are true, it keeps your eyebrows on fleek, my makeup came off really easy, even though I will stick with coconut oil, and moisturizer works like a charm.

OVERALL

Aloe is going to be something I have in my house from now on. It is super amazing and works like a charm, definitely recommend it for your skin care routine.
